FOSTERING SAVES LIVES
Fostering is the backbone of rescue. Majority of rescues are foster based, they do not have a facility. Fosters provide a temporary home for the dog or cat while waiting for their forever family to come along. This is the time for these animals to learn to trust people, recover from illnesses, and save them from life in a shelter. You give them a safe & loving home as the bridge to their second chance at life.
We provide the supplies ~ you provide the love!
We supply everything you will need (food, toys, litter, crates, etc). All veterinary expenses (as long as we approve/are notified) are covered by the rescue.

Your job as a foster parent is to help acclimate the dog or cat to a typical home life after being brought to NJ from a noisy, scary shelter. Basic home manners, training and socialization! You do not have to be an expert, we will help every step of the way and provide you with all the tools you need! You just need to open your heart and your home to an animal in need. You will truly be saving a life!

Worried you'll fall in love and want to keep your foster? That is fine! Fosters get priority if you decide you have found your next family member and best friend! All fosters still need to go through the full adoption process and are not guaranteed to adopt that animal. If you just want to foster, you are helping another family find their new family member!
